The Mosheim Volunteer Fire Department will have an Open House and Community Awareness Day on September 21st from 11 AM to 4 PM. The event was originally scheduled for this Saturday, but out of respect, the event has been postponed due to the passing of Greene County Dispatcher Chassity Marshalls.
The Open House is a way for the VFD to show appreciation to citizens. Visit and enjoy some fun, free food like hamburgers and hot dogs, and chat with your local firefighters. The Open House will also have drinks, cotton candy, ice cream, and popcorn, with a bounce house available for children.
Local agencies will also be attending. The fire station is located at 7700 West Andrew Johnson Highway in Mosheim.
