Officers located about 34 grams of Methamphetamine after stopping a vehicle with no license plate on Sunday near East McKee Street.
Greeneville Police were patrolling the area when they saw a Ford pull into a driveway abruptly. They conducted a traffic stop and spoke with the driver, Dakota Ricker of Chuckey, and a passenger, Steven Leaf of Greeneville. Ricker was found to have a suspended license and no proof of insurance.
During a vehicle search, an officer noticed a mesh bag behind the passenger seat that had approximately 34 grams of a white crystal substance believed to be Meth. There were also baggies, a digital scale with residue, and three syringes inside. According to the report, Leaf took ownership of the bag.
He was arrested for felony manufacture, sale, or delivery of Meth and unlawful paraphernalia. Leaf is being held at the Greene County Detention Center on a $76,000 bond until his court arraignment. Ricker was issued a criminal summons and charged with having a suspended license, improper display, and financial responsibility law.
