An arrest was made for Public Intoxication early this morning on Church Street.
Officers observed a male standing in the roadway on West Church Street and Holt Court around 2:30 this morning, reportedly waving his arms and talking to people who weren’t there.
The man was identified as Tyler L. Smith and according to the police report, seemed to be under the influence of some type of drug or alcohol, to the point that officers deemed he may be a danger to himself or others. Smith was placed under arrest for public intoxication.
