A Dearstone Lane woman reported to the Greene County Sheriff’s Department on Tuesday her bank account was recently hacked.
The victim discovered fraudulent charges last week from Des Moines Iowa Waterworks and the University of Phoenix. The victim said she has had no interactions with the company or the university.
According to the report, the amount taken from her account totaled approximately $5,000.
