The Tennessee Education Lottery Corporation, which has raised more than $7.5B to fund designated education programs like college grants, scholarships, and K-12 after-school programs, encourages Tennesseans to play the jackpot for the popular Mega Millions.
They have even provided some information on how you can play. Here are some details regarding the Mega Millions jackpot:
- Drawings are conducted at 10 PM CT/11 PM ET on Tuesdays and Fridays.
- Players have until 9:45 PM CT/10:45 PM ET the night of the drawing to purchase a ticket for that night’s drawing.
- Tickets are $2; the Megaplier option is an additional $1. Prizes on all Megaplier tickets are multiplied except for the jackpot.
- There are nine ways to win playing Mega Millions.
- Overall odds to win a prize: 1:24
- Jackpot odds: 1:302,575,350
