The Town of Greeneville was recognized by the World Atlas again, this time for being one of the most beautiful small towns in Tennessee.
Greeneville was one of seven cities named as most beautiful in the state. The World Atlas article states the town is no slacker when it comes to natural wonders and mentions Margarette Falls as a hiking spot. The Andrew Johnson National Historic Site was also recognized; the article briefly speaks on the history of Andrew Johnson. Greeneville was also one of seven cutest small towns in the Mid-South to visit in 2024.
Earlier this year, Greeneville was named one of eleven towns in the state with the richest history. The World Atlas article highlights the historic downtown district, mentions the famous Davy Crockett State Park, and mentions the General Morgan Inn.
Additionally, Greeneville was considered one of the eight oldest towns to visit in Tennessee.
