Volleyball: Science Hill 3 – Greeneville 0: Greeneville opened their volleyball season Monday evening against Science Hill and got off to a fast start, only to see the Hilltoppers rally to take the first set 22-25. The Hilltoppers continued their fast pace and strong play in the second set winning 17-25, before closing out the match 13-25 for the sweep The Lady Devils will travel to Bristol on Tuesday to take on West Ridge and Tennessee High.

Golf: South Greene came away with a win Monday afternoon at Link Hills over West Greene, North Greene, and Chuckey Doak. The Rebels shot a 170 and were one stroke ahead the Buffaloes’ 171. The Black Knights finished the day with a 193, while the Huskies shot a 196. Kolben Gregg’s 36 was good enough for medalist honors, while Conner Campbell was 4-shots off the pace at 40.

Soccer: Greeneville 2 – Jefferson County 1: The Lady Devils went on the road and knocked off the Lady Patriots 2-1. Matea Gray knocked in her second goal of the game in the 71st minute to preserve the win, Her first goal of the night came in the 20th minute, while Jefferson County knotted the score up in the 50th minute.
