The Greene County Trustee’s Office announced that it has recently finalized the implementation of a new property tax payment processing system for both online and phone payments.
Both of these payment options will be more user friendly. Trustee office staff will be able to better serve customers by providing more up-to-date information as they will be able to see payments as they are made in real time.
The online payment option, named Citisen Portal, will allow customers to search and pay Greene County property taxes by card or ACH, print property tax notices and receipts, and create personalized accounts to track property taxes for multiple properties. Customers can access Citisen Portal by visiting www.tennesseetrustee.org and clicking “Greene County” in the dropdown box.
Customers wanting to pay property taxes by phone will now call 1-833-591-7184. This number is dedicated solely to the Greene County Trustee’s Office and allows customers to pay Greene County property taxes via card or ACH.
