Because of inclement weather, the Greeneville Water Commission has rescheduled work for this week that will result in water outages.
Crews will now be working on July 31st in the area of Chapel, Lake, Park and Unaka Streets for a water valve repair or replacement starting at 8 AM until the job is completed. Those affected areas will have low to no water at times.
Crews will be working August 1st beginning at 8 AM on the Asheville Highway starting at Hixon Avenue all the way to South Greene Middle School to replace a water master meter for Glen Hills Utility District. Those areas will have water outages on Thursday. Work is expected to take most of the day and could continue into Friday, August 2nd.
