The Tennessee Department of Labor & Workforce Development reported this afternoon the state unemployment rate held steady in June at 3.0 percent.
The all-time low unemployment rate of 3.0 percent was first reached by the state in May. Employers added 400 new nonfarm jobs to the state between May and June.
The national unemployment rate for June was 4.1 percent, up slightly from 4.0 percent in May.
County unemployment data for June will be released next week.
