Radio Greeneville’s interview with the candidates in the upcoming election conclude today.
While there are other candidates and municipalities on the ballot, the only contested races are those for the Town of Greeneville Mayor and two Greeneville City Council seats.
Radio Greeneville will air interviews with Matt Hensley and Peter Higgins followed by incumbent Tim Teague today during the 10 AM hour. Those three, along with incumbent Scott Bullington and Jonathan Cave, are running for the two 2nd Ward City Council seats. The interviews with Bullington and Cave aired Tuesday, and our interviews with the two men running for mayor aired on Monday.
The interviews have been split between Tuesday and Wednesday due to time constraints. If you missed the interviews from earlier this week, they are available on our webpage and below.
WGRV will provide live coverage of a Candidate Forum presented by the Exchange Club next Thursday evening, and we will have live election returns on Election Day, August 1.
