The Greene County Partnership has announced the hiring of two Greene County natives to their staff.
The Greene County Partnership today announced that Ashlyn Wilson has joined GCP as events coordinator. Wilson is a graduate of East Tennessee State University, where she received her degree in media and communication with a minor in marketing. Prior to joining the Greene County Partnership, Wilson worked as a marketing manager for a local small business. As a Greene County native, she has participated in a variety of different clubs, volunteering opportunities and organizations. Wilson has a passion for using her marketing skills and creative prowess to help local Greene County businesses be successful.
The Greene County Partnership also announced the appointment of Bo Woods as the new director of marketing and business development for the organization. Woods succeeds Kendra Hopson who was elevated to the position of general manager/chamber director in April. “It is an honor to have the opportunity to serve our community in this capacity,” said Woods. “I look forward to developing the relationships that are essential to the continued growth and success of Greeneville and Greene County.” A Greene County native, Woods is a graduate of South Greene High School and holds a degree in media and communication from East Tennessee State University.
