A Greeneville man driving a motorcycle nearly 70 miles over the speed limit was charged after he was stopped on Monday.
A deputy with the Greene County Sheriff’s Department clocked a motorcycle around noon traveling 99 in a 30 mph zone. A traffic stop was initiated and the deputy caught up to the driver, who stopped in the 2000 block of Jones Bridge Road.
The man was identified as Matthew Miller of Little Meadow Creek Road. He was issued a criminal summons to appear in court this week for reckless driving.
