Main Street Greeneville’s summer concert series Lyrics on the Lawn is back for the eleventh consecutive year on the lawn of the Dickson Williams mansion.
The first show of the free concert series is to be held on Thursday, July 4, at 7 pm.
The concerts take place each Thursday evening in July. Open mic is from 6-7 pm. Jared Bentley will begin at 7 pm with intermission scheduled for 7:45 and the headliner, Tumbling River Band, taking the stage at 8:00.
Jared Bentley has an eclectic Mountain Soul sound with a smidge of southern accents thrown in for good measure.
The Tumbling River Band specializes in covering the biggest hits from the 90’s country music scene.
On-site food vendors will be located across the street from the mansion. The Lyrics on the Lawn concerts are family friendly. Folks are encouraged to bring a lawn chair or blanket.
