Two people from a home on Pine Street were arrested Wednesday morning and charged with three counts of child neglect and drug charges.
The Greeneville Police Department arrived at the home before 4 AM and were reportedly serving a warrant. Danielle K. Miller answered the door and let officers enter to search for Bryant K. McCaleb. McCaleb was found asleep in a bedroom and was arrested. A pipe was allegedly found on a dresser. After searching further, multiple pipes were reportedly located as well as mushrooms and a syringe.
According to the report, Miller told deputies the mushrooms were hers and admitted to smoking Methamphetamine with McCaleb the night before, where children were present. The report states the syringe and mushrooms were easily accessible. Both were charged with child neglect (x3) and drug related charges.
The Department of Children Services was contacted and responded to the Police Department. The children present were released to the custody of family members.
