The Greeneville City School Board of Education will meet this evening at 7:15 PM and will consider approving a roof deck replacement project for Highland Elementary School.
According to the agenda, the work includes disposing the existing deteriorating concrete decking and insolated form board to expose the existing bar joists, installing new metal decking over the existing bar joists, and providing interior dust protection and cleaning services. The duration of the project is expected to last 28 days during regular work hours for a total cost of $115,767.42.
Also to be discussed during the meeting is policy revision approvals, school trip requests for GHS Track, Cheer Camp, and Volleyball Team Camp, a beverage-vending contract, a maintenance van purchase, and scholarship recipients for the Carmen Cox Scholarship.
Furthermore, the board will continue with the approval of the 2024-25 Fiscal Year Budget. The meeting will be held following the joint board meeting with Greene County Schools at Greene Technology Center on 1121 Hal Henard Road.
