Chairwoman of the Greeneville Energy Authority Board Sarah Webster was re-nominated by GEA board members to serve again for an additional five-year term, effective July 1st. The Greeneville City Council voted on Tuesday to approve the request.
During the city council meeting the consideration to elect two people to the Greeneville Historic Zoning Commission Board was tabled as only one person was recommended from the HZC board out of several applicants. The council voted to have the HZC recommend two applicants instead of just one and then there will be a vote on those recommended.
The board will select two out of the following candidates at their next meeting on June 18th: Jeff Farr, William Sherrill, Brent Woolsey, Thomas Lane, Joseph Aldridge, and Sharon Shade.
