A Talbott, TN man was arrested on Sunday night for Driving Under the Influence after he was found passed out in his vehicle in a business parking lot.
Officers responded to 1175 East Andrew Johnson highway on the report of a vehicle that was parked for an extended period of time in the lot. The Greeneville Police Department arrived at around 11 PM and found Bradley S. Barker passed out with the vehicle still running and his foot on the gas petal. Barker woke up after a knock on the window and the passenger door was opened.
According to the report, Barker was unsteady on his feet when asked to get out of his vehicle, he needed assistance with his wallet when asked for identification, and he struggled with some sobriety tests. During a search two empty bottles of Jim Beam Bourbon were allegedly found in the passenger seat.
He was charged with DUI 2nd offense and Violation of Implied Consent for initially refusing a blood draw.
