A vehicle fire was reported on Valleydale Road in Mosheim Saturday morning.
The victim told the Greene County Sheriff’s Department he was sleeping around 9:30 and heard a loud booming noise. When he went outside, he saw his 1992 Chevrolet truck on fire. According to the victim, there were no known mechanical issues with the truck and he used it as a work vehicle.
The truck and various tools inside were valued at around $2,100.
