Around 131 grams of Marijuana wax, pills, and other drug related items were found during a traffic stop on the 100 block of North Main Street Sunday.
According to the report, the vehicle was originally pulled over due to a window tint that was darker than the legal limit. A backseat passenger in the vehicle was later identified as Christa Shelton of Greeneville, who was known to have active warrants. She was detained by the Greeneville Police Department.
A K-9 was requested to the scene and gave a positive alert for narcotics in the vehicle. According to the report, during a vehicle search officers located a large bag containing three gabapentin pills, five Xanax pills, a morphine pill, approximately 131 grams of Marijuana wax, baggies, an unknown white pill with powder, scales, a pipe with tubing, and a torch lighter. Shelton admitted the items were hers.
She was given several charges including drug violations, unlawful drug paraphernalia, and criminal impersonation for not stating her identity when first questioned.
