A barn near Washington College Academy in Limestone was destroyed by fire Saturday morning.
The Tusculum Volunteer Fire Department was called to assist the Limestone, Nolichuckey Valley, and Jonesborough Fire Departments to the fire just after 10:00 AM Saturday. The barn was located near the Bill West Road and Washington College Road intersection. It was fully involved when firefighters arrived and was completely destroyed.
