A man was taken to the hospital on Tuesday after an overdose was reported at a home on the 7400 block of West Andrew Johnson Highway in Mosheim.
The Greene County Sheriff’s Office spoke with someone who said the man was overdosing on the floor. They arrived at the home after 10 PM. A witness stated that the man, named in the report, uses Heroin and Methamphetamine from time to time. Three Narcans were administered before EMS arrived.
A pill bottle containing five pills and seven grams of a crystal like substance believed to be Meth was recovered from the bathroom by deputies. No charges were filed at the time of the report. The man was transported to the Greeneville Community Hospital by EMS.
