The Tennessee Sports Writers Association released their All State team and two local products made the list. North Greene’s Hailey Bailey and Greeneville’s Kyla Jobe were selected to the prestigious All State Team.
Senior, Hailey Bailey of North Greene was a Miss Basketball finalist this season. She led the Lady Huskies back to the State Tournament, making an Elite 8 appearance. Bailey led the team in scoring at 18 ppg and rebounding at 9 rbpg.
Junior, Kyla Jobe of Greeneville was an All District and All Region performer, including being named the District 2-3A player of the year. She helped guide Greeneville to their third straight State Tournament appearance, but fell in their Elite 8 showdown. Jobe led the team in scoring at just over 14 ppg. This is the second All State selection for Jobe this season as she earned Volleyball All State honors. The three sport star signed with the Tennessee Lady Vols softball program earlier this month. Jobe is the only Lady Devil softball player with over 100 hits and 100 steals for a career.
