Greene County Sheriff’s Office Press Release
The Greene County Sheriff’s Department has charged two people with child abuse. On March 28, 2024, deputies responded to Greeneville Community Hospital for a report of possible child abuse involving a four-month-old baby. The Criminal Investigation Division was called to investigate.
On April 16, 2024, a Greene County Grand Jury handed down true-bill indictments on the following:
Faith Ann Stewart: age 18
Aggravated Child Endangerment
Failure to Report Child Abuse
Danny J. Furr (aka Conner Abaddon King): age 21
Aggravated Child Abuse
Child Abuse
Child Abuse
Failure to Report Child Abuse
Criminal Impersonation
Stewart and Furr have been arrested and taken to the Greene County Detention Center. Each have a bond of $150,000 with an initial court appearance set in Criminal Court for July 31, 2024. The child has been placed in custody with the Department of Children’s Services.
