A single car vehicle accident was reported around 10:30 AM this morning on I-81 near the 37.4 mile marker in the southbound lane.
The United Volunteer Fire Department and Greeneville Emergency Squad responded to the scene. A medical helicopter was also called to the scene.
The southbound lanes of I-81 were shut down around 10:45 AM for the helicopter to land. Expect traffic delays until the scene is clear.

A motor vehicle accident was reported as of 9:30 AM near Willow Ridge Drive and the East Andrew Johnson Highway.
The Tusculum Volunteer Fire Department was requested to the scene with assistance from the Greeneville Emergency & Rescue Squad.
First responders cleared that scene around 10:30 AM.
