The Greeneville Energy Authority Office will be closing at 12 PM on Thursday, April 11th, 2024 to honor and pay respects to GEA President and CEO Chuck Bowlin.
Bowlin’s body will be brought from Nashville to Greeneville. The procession will depart from Nashville sometime this morning is anticipated to be at exit 23 by mid-afternoon.
The GEA office will be closing at 12 PM in an effort to be at exit 23 to provide an escort into Greeneville. The office invites anyone who wishes to participate. “Let us come together to honor the legacy of a remarkable leader and offer our heartfelt condolences to the Bowlin family during this difficult time.”
A celebration of life service for Bowlin will be held Saturday, April 13 at 3 PM at First Baptist Church. A reception for family and friends will follow the service at the church.
