A storage unit on Pruitt Road North was broken into, several items were taken totaling around $3,500.
The victim spoke with the Greeneville Police Department on Thursday and said he was last at the storage unit on March 10th, 2024. When he returned on March 27th the key to his unit did not work and as he was attempting to open the unit the key broke off. According to the report, the lock that was on the victim’s unit was not the original and had to be cut off by the manager.
Over $3,500 in items were missing including holiday decorations, dishes, tools like sockets, screw drivers, wrenches, a tool box, and clothes. No suspects were known at the time of the report.
