Two juveniles involved in an accident last week that killed a former Greene County woman have been charged.
According to the Alcoa Police Department, the 16-year-old male driver and 16-year-old male passenger have both been charged with criminal homicide, theft of a motor vehicle, and leaving the scene of an accident resulting in a fatality. The driver was additionally charged with vehicular homicide and underage DUI.
The wreck happened Friday morning at the intersection of E. Lincoln Road and Southbound Hall Road in Alcoa. 19-year-old Madison Hoese was killed in the accident when her vehicle was reportedly struck in a T-bone collision. Hoese was the daughter of Cassondra Smith and Gary Hoese of Greene County.
