The Greeneville/Greene County Office of Emergency Management has shared the following information on what homeowners should do if their house has become inhabitable due to last night’s winds.
If your home has been affected by the Wind Event on March 26, 2024, and you need help for sheltering , and other supplies, due to damages to your home, be sure to contact your home owners insurance company first to report all damages If additional assistance is needed, please contact the Red Cross National Hotline at 1-800-733-2767 and click option 1.
Our Regional Red Cross is already working with local EMA personnel to help meet the needs of those affected in our area and have damage to their homes in which it leaves their home or sections of their homes inhabitable.
If you need to leave any information on damages from last nights wind event, please call Emergency Management at 423-798-1729 and leave a detailed message, along with your name, phone number, and affected address. Someone will return your call as soon as possible.
