Police responded to several calls over the weekend for Criminal Trespassing and Public Drunkenness.
At 2:30 AM Saturday, officers went to the Hyperion restaurant on the Andrew Johnson Highway. A man, Jeramie Green of Simpson Street, had become belligerent with the owners after his taxi did not arrive, demanding the owners drive him home. Officers reportedly found Green to be highly intoxicated with slurred speech and was unsteady on his feet. Due to Green’s intoxication, for his safety and the safety of the public, he was taken into custody for public intoxication and a trespass warning was issued to Green for the property.

Around 2:00 PM on Friday, police were told by a homeowner in the 100 Block of Chapel Street, a woman was on their property who had been trespassed previously. A records check confirmed the statement, and officers found Ivey Stills and another female in the parking lot of Greeneville High School. Stills was placed in custody and charged with criminal trespassing.

Just after 4:30 this morning, officers responded to East Broyles Street, on the report of an intoxicated male on the property. Officers made contact with the man standing outside, who was identified as Alfredo Pizano of Fairfield Drive. The report stated Pizano smelled of alcohol, had watery eyes, and admitted to drinking. He was charged with public intoxication and removed from the property.
