The Glen Hills Utility District reported stolen water this week in the 200 block of East Stagecoach Road.
An employee reported to the Greene County Sheriff’s Department on Tuesday he went out to the area and checked a water line that has no meter on it. Someone had cut the line, attached a water hose, and ran it to a water trough in a field.
The employee said there is no way to know how much water has been stolen since there is no meter. No suspects were known at the time of the report.
