A woman was arrested Monday after she reportedly caused a disturbance around Dollar General on Tusculum Boulevard.
Officers were dispatched to the scene around 1:30 PM on the report of a woman screaming and kicking cars in the parking lot. The woman, identified as Sheila Waddell, was seen walking toward Greeneville Federal Bank. Waddell reportedly threw a rock into the roadway in front of a moving vehicle. She was then seen walking in the roadway, impeding traffic.
Waddell was asked to stop, but refused. Officers removed her from the roadway. A Med Unit stopped to assist, as it had to avoid hitting her in the roadway.
Waddell was transported to the Greene County Detention Center for resisting stop and arrest and being a pedestrian on the roadway.
