A man was arrested after midnight this morning for being in possession of 12.5 grams of suspected mushrooms, seven grams of Methamphetamine, two grams of Marijuana and other narcotics.
The Greeneville Police Department was called to the 300 block of Bohannon Avenue at the request of an employee from a Stockyard who stated there was a horse sale and when it ended several vehicles were still hanging out in parking lot. They reportedly asked that the individuals be removed.
According to the report, when officers arrived they found Stacey Brown of Greeneville passed out behind the wheel of a running vehicle. A welfare check was conducted and Brown woke up, as he exited the vehicle a glass pipe reportedly fell onto the ground from his lap.
An officer requested a vehicle search and allegedly found seven grams of suspected Methamphetamine in two separate baggies, 12.5 grams of (other hallucinogens) suspected mushrooms, and 2 grams of suspected Marijuana. Six Hydrocodone pills were also reportedly located in a silver pill bottle on Brown’s person.
He was charged with Unlawful Drug Paraphernalia, Manufacture of Methamphetamine, and additional drug related charges.
