Emergency responders were sent to the scene of a serious accident on Interstate 81 southbound just before 6PM. The accident happened near the Weigh Station near mile marker 19 and 20. Traffic was diverted through the Weight Station while investigation of the wreck continued.
The Tennessee Highway Patrol will release more information as the investigation continues.
