A man was arrested at a Jim Fox Road residence on Monday for violation of the sex offender registry.
While conducting a warrant check at the residence, deputies with the Greene County Sheriff’s Department became aware that 40-year-old Jason Hickman was hiding in a bedroom. Verbal commands were given for a short time before deputies began beating on the door. Hickman then exited the bedroom.
He was transported to the Greene County Detention Center, where he was served with an active warrant for sex offender registry violation.
