A student from West Greene High School was charged with vandalism after reportedly damaging a privacy urinal divider in the male bathroom Tuesday.
The damage was discovered on the freshman wing of the school Tuesday morning. After further investigation through video footage a student was confirmed to have caused the damage by repetitively pushing and kicking the divider until the brackets were broken from the wall. This was reportedly done on two separate occasions the first around 8 AM and again around 9:20 in the morning.
The juvenile suspect admitted to causing the damage and stated he did not have a specific reason. The divider, connecting brackets, and the wall were all damaged. The teen was cited by the Greene County Sheriff’s Office.
