A burglary was reported Saturday afternoon, and warrants were issued.
Police officers responded to a report of a Motor Vehicle Theft on North Main Street around 4:00 Saturday afternoon. The victims named the suspect, stating the man broke into the house and the shed on the property taking numerous items, before breaking into the victim’s truck, as well.
Missing items include a Dewalt skill saw and Sawzall, a side-grinder, a Samsung Galaxy tablet, and a wallet.
A Jeep Grand Cherokee was also stolen from the driveway but was recovered by the Greene County Sheriff’s Department. It was confirmed that the driver was the same suspect, Tyler Rogers.
Approximate value of items stolen from the truck and shed, was $2,800. Damage was also done to a door frame on the back of the house. According to the report, warrants for burglary, theft, and theft of a motor vehicle, will be taken out for Tyler Rogers.
