A Chuckey man was arrested Sunday around 1 AM for driving under the influence after he was stopped for reportedly driving without a front passenger side tire.
A deputy with the Greene County Sheriff’s Department was on Ripley Island Road when they noticed a vehicle on the 11E, which appeared to be driving with an unusual amount of sparks on the passenger side. The vehicle was also seen driving well over the center of the road.
Deputies stopped the driver Dylan E. Babb near Afton Road and reportedly could smell an odor of alcohol. Sobriety tests were given and Babb allegedly performed poorly. He was arrested for Driving Under the Influence (1st Offense.)
