More than $2,000 worth of items were reported stolen from a storage unit on Pruitt Road North Tuesday.
The unit renter told the Greeneville Police Department that sometime since January 30, someone had broken her padlock off and entered the unit. Several items were taken, including an antique sewing machine, an antique medicine cabinet, a set of china, and a dresser.
The victim said she discovered on Tuesday a different padlock had been placed on the unit by an unknown suspect. Loss is estimated at around $2,200.
