According to the National Weather Service, Greene County could experience slightly elevated fire weather conditions today due to the combination of low RH and breezy winds.
Beginning on Friday morning, multiple rounds of rain are expected that will continue through Monday with the heaviest and most widespread rain on Saturday and Monday. Isolated flooding is possible due to repeated, locally heavy rainfall, especially south of Interstate 40.
Temperatures today will be in the 60’s with lows around 40 tonight. This weekend, highs will remain in the 60’s and expect wind gusts as high as 20 mph. Stay tuned to Radio Greeneville Stations for more weather updates.
