The Greeneville City Council will continue discussions on addressing the sloping sidewalk issues in the recently renovated downtown area along Depot Street. That issue is among the items on the agenda for Tuesday’s meeting.
The City Council will also consider sidewalk designs for Bernard Avenue.
The Council will also consider the purchase of three new police cars at a cost of $42,000 per vehicle, plus an additional $44,000 in customizing them as police cars. The total purchase amount would be covered by a grant and by the sale of older police cars.
The meeting will be this afternoon at 4 PM in the G. Thomas Love Boardroom at the Greeneville Energy Authority building.
