A woman wanted in Wisconsin was arrested in Greene County Tuesday.
A Greeneville resident contacted the Greene County Sheriff’s Department regarding a woman living in her mother’s home doing drugs. The complainant said her mother had taken in the woman, identified as Tineya Jean Stedman, to help her out.
The complainant was concerned about the situation and wanted to get the woman out of her mother’s home. A warrant check on Steadman showed her to have an active parole warrant out of Wisconsin. The Wisconsin Department of Corrections confirmed full extradition.
Steadman was placed into custody and transported to the Greene County Detention Center for being a fugitive from justice.
