A man was arrested yesterday afternoon for reckless driving and other charges after he was spotted driving 88 mph in a 45 mph speed zone.
Deputies saw the vehicle and conducted a traffic stop near West Summer Street. The driver, Cameron Savage of Franklin, TN, was asked to step out and walk toward the deputy’s vehicle. He was found to have a suspended license.
Savage reportedly began walking away from the patrol car and went toward his vehicle. He was asked to return by the deputy but allegedly did not cooperate. Savage was detained for the deputy’s safety.
He was eventually arrested due to driving past the speed limit on a congested bypass, having a revoked license, and financial responsibility law.
