Warrant arrests were made this weekend by the Greene County Sheriff’s Office including one on the 400 block of Fox Mays Road.
On Sunday afternoon, deputies were dispatched to a welfare check for a female who showed up at a property on Fox Mays Road. Deputies were in the area earlier in the day near Harmony Circle, searching for 36 year-old Amber Waskiewics of Virginia, who had a warrant for Failure to Appear. Waskiewics was found in the woods in a field behind the Fox Mays Road property and was taken into custody.
Another man was arrested for a warrant on Saturday afternoon. Officers were reportedly in route to a male and female fighting in the middle of the roadway near the Erwin Highway. After arriving, the male suspect was identified as 35 year-old Bobby Hensley of Greeneville.
He was arrested for his Violation of Probation warrant, 2nd and 3rd offense. Hensley was taken into custody and transported to the Greene County Detention Center. No additional details were provided in the reports.
