For the last couple of weeks we’ve had a winter like January but it should feel back to starting normal this week. Temperatures will start off in the 40’s today and will gradually increase to 65 degrees by Thursday. Lows will increase to the 40’s and 50’s on Tuesday night.
According to the National Weather Service, a warming trend will lead to snowmelt across the area, which will saturate the ground in many places. Beginning on Tuesday through the rest of the week, several rounds of showers and possibly thunderstorms will move through the area.
This will bring widespread, locally heavy rainfall that could cause flooding of rivers and streams.
