An arrest was made Saturday morning at Greeneville Community Hospital.
Around 8:20 AM, officers arrived at the hospital for a male who was being belligerent and making threats to the hospital staff.
Upon arrival, officers made contact with security officers, who reportedly stated the male had brought himself into the Emergency Room for a mental evaluation. The report stated the man, identified as Garry Porter of Baileyton Road, was cursing the doctors and nursing staff and also making verbal threats toward them.
A check showed that Porter had an active warrant for his arrest for violation of probation. As Porter had not been admitted and had refused to speak with doctors, he was taken into custody and transported to the Greene County Detention Center without incident.
