A Minnesota truck driver traveling through Greene County reported his gun stolen.
The victim said he was traveling with his ex-girlfriend. She asked him to give her a ride and he picked her up in Ohio. The stopped in Greene County Saturday at the Love’s Travel Center at exit 30 on Interstate 81 to rest for the night.
When the victim woke up Sunday morning, he discovered his ex-girlfriend and his pistol were gone. He contacted the suspect, who denied taking the gun and said she got a ride from another friend.
The 9mm pistol was valued at $300.
