Several items including a stolen firearm and 18 grams of Methamphetamine were found during a vehicle search Thursday afternoon, after a Greeneville woman was arrested on the 800 block of East Andrew Johnson Highway.
According to the report, Greene County Sheriff’s pulled over a vehicle with a Florida license plate that did not come up on file. Before getting pulled over the driver allegedly turned into Big Time Beverage and then pulled back out of the lot after not seeing the deputy.
The deputy got back behind the vehicle and the driver turned into another store, which initiated a traffic stop. The driver reportedly gave a false name of Olesea Hruncsco. A female deputy was then requested to the scene that recognized the driver as suspect Angela Cogdell, who has a revoked license and an active warrant for Violation of Probation. Cogdell was placed under arrest.
A vehicle search was conducted shortly after, where deputies reportedly located 18 grams of Methamphetamines, packaged for resale, 16 Clonazepam, eight Alprazolam, seven Oxycodone, seven Gabapentin, Hellcat 9mm, six rounds, two ledges, multiple baggies, and other paraphernalia items.
Cogdell was charged with Criminal Impersonation, Possession of a Fire Arm, several drug charges, and more.
