A Limestone woman arrested following a traffic stop was additionally charged after allegedly attempting to conceal methamphetamine into the Washington County Detention Center.
Washington County Sheriff’s deputies stopped a vehicle Monday morning that was swerving on Gray Station Sulphur Springs Road. The driver, 49-year-old Chestina Gail English of Limestone, appeared impaired. Two unlabeled pill bottles containing 214 pills were found in her vehicle.
She was transported to the Washington County Detention Center. During the booking process, deputies found English had concealed a baggie containing 7.5 grams of a substance identified as methamphetamine. She was charged with DUI, simple possession, and introduction of contraband into a correctional facility.
