Several Boys & Girls Club board volunteers and organizations received honors from the Boys & Girls Clubs of America Tennessee Area Council at its annual membership meeting this fall.
Taking top honors for the Tennessee Board Member Awards was Chuck Bowlin, board volunteer for the Boys & Girls Club of Greeneville & Greene County, honored as the Tennessee Boys & Girls Club Board Member of the Year for his work at the local Club.
The Town of Greeneville received the Tennessee C.A.R.E. (Children Are the Reason for Excellence) Award for their work with the Boys & Girls Club of Greeneville & Greene County.
The Tennessee Boys & Girls Clubs Hall of Fame inducted seven new members in their 2023 class including Carla Bewley, board volunteer for the Boys & Girls Club of Greeneville & Greene County.
The awards were presented during the Tennessee Area Council Awards and Tennessee Hall of Fame dinner at the Crowne Plaza in Knoxville, Tennessee. The Tennessee Area Council is made up of over 100 Club sites from organizations across the state serving thousands of children each year.
